National Equestrian Center in St. Louis

The National Equestrian Center (NEC) is a 56-acre facility located just west of St. Louis. Facility highlights include more than 207,000 square feet of continuous indoor arenas, schooling areas, and stabling — plus an additional 42,000 square feet of stabling, multiple VIP spaces, an on-site cafe, and a massive outdoor arena surrounded by trees and tailgating areas.

Find the NEC in Lake St. Louis, where Highway N meets Lake St. Louis Boulevard, west of Interstate 64.

Arenas

Three main competition areas anchor the facility: the West Arena, East Arena, and the outdoor arena. The climate-controlled, indoor West Arena measures 120′ x 240′ and features a connected 100′ x 200′ schooling areas plus two gate locations, grandstand seating, and permanent VIP boxes. Both the arena and its dedicated schooling area are outfitted with GGT Fiber footing over GGT Butterfly Mats.

The East Arena, also indoors, is 140′ x 225′ in size and positioned next to a 65′ x 80′ warm-up ring. These have Eureka HG Sugar Sand on top of a chat base.

The outdoor competition area measures 240′ x 700′ and features shaded pavilions, plus multiple double-gated entrances and bridle paths, all wide enough for horses and golf carts. The footing is blended, all-weather sand and limestone screenings.

Stabling

Six permanent, indoor barns offer climate-controlled stabling with the amenities you expect, including wash racks, permanent restrooms, electricity, and water spigots. While the barns and competition areas are generally in close proximity, Barns One, Two, Three, and Seven are connected via indoor tunnel to the West Arena and East Arena. Barns Six and Seven have easy access to the outdoor competition area.

RV Services

The NEC also has sixty 30-amp and three 50-amp RV spots available for rent. All sites have electric and water; scheduled dump services are available on request. To reserve an RV pad, please contact Tracy Miller at 636-561-8080.
